Best car I've ever owned, quick, quiet, great MPGs

I test drove a lot of cars but kept coming back the the Audi A4, Consumers Reports gives it excellent reliability rating and high marks across the board. The Premium plus has excellent LED headlights, so much better than the 3 series. With the headlights on a side shining LED light turns on with the turn signals lighting up the side of the road you're turning into. The 2.0t Engine is one of the best in the industry, it's a gem with excellent toque pulls and pulls. I get 25 MPGs in town and 39 highway, so much better than I expected. The digital dash is also excellent, you can have the GPS screen right in front of you clear and so easy to read. Sit behind the wheel and instantly you know you're in something special, start driving and everything feels right. I always tell people to drive the car you're interested at night, headlights are so important, sadly even some top brands have poor headlights. The base A4 headlights aren't as good as the Premium Plus or prestige models. Audi should put the best headlight in EVERY model . BMW 3 series makes you order the Laser Headlights as a $1000 option to get decent headlights.…
Luxury compact sedan, can't go wrong with the A4

This luxury compact sedan is absolutely great. The Premium Plus trim comes very well equipped and you can feel the quality in the details. It offers a quiet and smooth ride. Long distance road trips are actually a pleasant experience driving the A4. The engine is *ok*, has been reliable - well... to be fair, it's been only 20k miles, but so far, so good. Driving settings can be adjusted to your stye and the Dynamic mode effectively adds some "sporty" feeling to the drive. Suspension is well balanced between too stiff and too soft, the dual exhaust sounds great but it lacks a bit of bite. Being a previous VW GTI owner for years, I really miss the punch - not that the GTI is a power monster, but... Overall I still feel the A4 was a good trade in favor of comfort.…
One Of The Best Vehicles If In The Right Trim

I have owned my 2018 Audi A4 Premium Plus for 4 years (bought it in the middle of 2017) and it has been nothing but exceptional. I managed to get a manual which is very comfortable and rewarding to drive even in traffic. It is very fast, faster than most vehicles on the road (mine also has a small tune increasing the turbo pressure). With proper snow tires and its AWD system, it handles great in the snow. Often driving 50mph home on non-highways with 3+ inches of unplowed snow. On the highway it cruises comfortably and quietly at 80mph. I have taken it on 400 mile trips one way and it has been very relaxing. The forward collision system responds and keeps you out of trouble without being naggy.
The Bang and Olufsen sound system is great although slightly lacking in bass. Virtual Cockpit, Audi Navigation, Android Auto all work with no complaints. Button layout is good with lots of physical buttons which are mostly intuitive compared to other cars. Space wise it is surprisingly capable for a small/mid sized sedan and the flat folding seats are a life saver.
The headlights are brilliant and well styled. The rest of the car is still beautiful and holding up in the looks department as it ages. I have the black optics package with blacked out accents, red brake calipers, red interior stitching and the carbon fiber trim from the s models. It also has the premium 10 spoke 19" rims which look similar to the ones they were using on the RS3 for a while (these were an option with the black optics package).
Fuel economy for me is 30mpg with mixed city/highway. On long trips I typically get 34mpg @80mph. Maintenance wise it is one of the most reliable vehicles I have driven. With 44,000 miles, it has never broken down. In fact, nothing has broken on the car at all and the rest of the maintenance has been covered under Audi Care (Oil and Air filter Changes, Spark Plugs, etc). Brakes are incredibly strong and linear and surprisingly on the original pads (I tend to coast and downshift before braking usually).
My only con is the rear collision aid is too sensitive. If backing up into traffic with cars moving in the far lane, the car might still auto brake despite being six feet away. Luckily you can disable the feature or push the button to disable traction control which in turn temporarily disables the all the Audi sense features including backup.
This car is great if you want something that does nearly everything right.…
